No lights were on in the small house, the young couple slept quietly in their beds. Unaware of the towering being in front of the house, nor the tiny creature wrapped in a fuzzy purple blanket cradled in his palm. It was a wonder she didn't cry, simply stared up into his enormous red optics... It almost made him want to keep her, protect her. She had her mother's eyes, the eyes of his first friend in so long... No, he would not dwell on such thoughts about a human, even a human as special as her. He had a mission to complete, and a devastated master to return to. Kneeling he gently placed the new born on the porch where he knew she would be safest. "Stay safe little one, pray we don't meet again." He murmured gently running the tip of an enormous sharp metal finger over the tiny creatures cheek.
